Welcome to a New school Year!

We are thrilled to welcome Heather, Granby Alumni Class of 1986, to our Executive Board as the newly elected President! Eager to deepen her involvement with the Booster Club, Heather brings a wealth of ideas and extensive experience from her service on various committees and Boards. As a resident and business owner in Granby, and with both a recent GJSHS graduate and a freshman athlete, Heather is dedicated, organized, and passionately committed to supporting our school's athletic programs. We look forward to the positive impact she will undoubtedly make in her new role.

As she embarks on her fourth year as the Booster Club Vice-President, Kathy has played a crucial role in the success of fundraisers, continually exploring new ways to generate support. Kathy is a familiar face to the students around the school, she takes it upon herself to ensure that everyone has the fuel they need to succeed. With her son having recently graduated, Kathy's commitment to the Booster Club and its mission remains unwavering.

Granby Alumni from the Class of 1997, Brian is entering his fourth year as the Booster Club Treasurer. Bringing a wealth of financial expertise to the role, he and his wife Laura have three student-athletes at GJSHS, including a daughter who is graduating this year. As a committed sports parent for all three seasons, Brian often rushes from his banking job in Rhode Island to be present at school events.

A Granby Alumni from the Class of 1995, is heading into her fourth year as an executive member of the Booster Club. Having previously served as President, she now brings her energy and organization to the role of Secretary. Juggling her full-time job in Communications with her Booster Club responsibilities can be demanding. Still, Krissy finds it deeply rewarding to support and enhance the experiences of our young student-athletes. When she’s not volunteering at the snack shack, you’ll find her on the sidelines, cheering passionately for all the teams, or capturing moments with her camera. With one son currently at GJSHS and another recently graduated, Krissy’s unwavering dedication to the Booster Club highlights her profound love for the Granby community.

Laura is entering her fourth year managing the Booster Club's presence on Facebook and Instagram. She is responsible for developing the weekly sports schedule and also helps keep the snack shack stocked. Alongside her husband Brian, Laura has three student-athletes at GJSHS, including a daughter who is graduating this year. As a dedicated sports parent for all three seasons, Laura is deeply involved in supporting her children and the Booster Club.
